Worldwide, women prefer to marry men who are older than they are and vice versa.

Marriage is love. Love is blind. Therefore marriage is an institution for the blind.

After marriage, husband and wife become two sides of a coin. They just can’t face each other, but they still stay together.

A British couple, Percy and Florence Arrowsmith held the record for the longest lasting marriage in the Guinness Book of World Records. The marriage lasted 80 years before the death of Percy Arrowsmith, aged 105, in mid 2005.

Married women appear to have a lower risk of domestic violence than cohabiting or dating women. Even after controlling for race, education and age, people who live together are still three times more likely to report violent arguments than married people.

It doesn’t matter how often a married man changes his job, he still ends up with the same boss.

For the lifetime, men on average would like to have 18 sex partners, and women, 4 or 5.
