Denzel Washington interesting stuff

I’m sure you all saw Denzel Washington playing in a movie, or on a postcard and such. Personally, I think he is one of the best Hollywood has to offer.
Now let’s see some numbers:
He was born in December, 1954, in New York. When he was 6 years old, he joined an organisation that would forever shape his personality: Boys and Girls Clubs of America. A few years after that, his father died; an event that made him think twice about what he should do with his life. A funny fact is that his father never let him to go to the movies, on religious based arguments. So, it’s kind of odd he is where he is today.
So, at 18, he got a role, playing Robert Eldrige, in a Tv-made for movie- Wilma. But his grand debut happened in 1981, in Carbon Copy. Since then, his career bursted, with him playing major roles, in famous movies like Malcom X, Philadelphia or Mississippi Masala.
Denzel Washington doesn’t have a theater or movie University degree, but a Journalism one. It’s true that after that he went to San Francisco for a full year at the Conservatory.
Did you know he had a part in more than 30 movies?
For 5 of them, he got an Academy Awards nomination. And out of 5 nominations, he won 2. But that’s, by far, not all. He also won two Oscars and one Golden Globe.
And if you liked his movies, you’ll probably agree with me that he’s not going to stop anytime soon.
