Water…It makes up 85 percent of the body and covers over two-thirds of the world’s surface. No doubt about it, without it, we would perish!

Doctor’s tell us water is necessary for the body’s total overall well-being and fitness. Every cell process in the body required water.

Unfortunately most of us do not realize how important water is and consequently do not drink enough of it. We all need to become better educated about what we should and should not put into our bodies. A healthy person can drink about three gallons (48 cups) of water per day.

Drinking water before any activity will help keep your heart rate and body temperature lower. It’ll also give you some fluid to spare. While exercising, continue to drink water every 20 to 30 minutes to replenish the fluid you are losing. After you are finished, drink more, even if you are not thirsty, because when your heart rate is elevated, the body loses water more rapidly.

Water is also the ultimate beauty product. Ask any model and she will tell you “Drink Water!” Even the most expensive makeup will not help if your skin in not hydrated.

Water serves as nature’s thermometer, helping to regulate the earth’s temperature.Water freezes at 32 degrees Fahrenheit, 0 degrees Celsius.

About 3% of the Earth’s water is fresh, and about three-fourth of that is in the Arctic icecaps
and glaciers.
