Purify the air with anti-air pollution plants
Is the air from your house more polluted than outside? Apparently so, according to NASA studies, done since 1990. Bacteria, acetone, ammonia, dust mites … all be found in any home, regardless of how well and often is cleaned. This is where the “saving” plants come in. Clorophytum (bridal veil) stays in tetop of the list . Bridal veil is that apartment plant with long leaves, striped in cream or yellow. Other plants that purify the air in the room are palm-bamboo, braided ficus, Ficus robusta, Dracena and fern.
Create your own household products
How often should you check the stock of household cleaning products? Not only that is affect your budget, but the health too – yours and the planet health. These products contain phosphates, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric, phosphoric, etc., all packaged in non-recyclable containers.
The solution? You can buy only eco products, environmentally friendly, or you can create yourself only products that you need.
It’s simple: detergent: boil 3.5 liters of water, you add 150 g of powdered soap and a handful of crystals of sodium bicarbonate. Pour the preparation into a bucket, before becoming too thick. After it cools, add essential oil flavor you want (lavender, rose, mint, lemon, etc.)
Solution for washing windows: in a spray container, mix white vinegar 25 cl, 8 drops of lemon essential oil, 8 drops of essential oil of peppermint and 10 cl water.
Use eco furniture
Choose furniture made of recycled raw material with no glue, because glue contains toxic substance for health. Clean the furniture with substances that do not contain acids or solvents.
